Casuarina Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant, originally made famous by master chef Peter Meier, and sous chef Michael Watson, for a menu that included flambé meals and desserts.

The newly renovated dining room and bar have been modernised with a nod to the building’s heritage, featuring dark vaulted ceilings and stunning modern chandeliers.

With a long history of fine dining, the iconic Casuarina Estate Restaurant has been a Pokolbin favourite for decades. Situated within the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country, the Estate is surrounded by 4.8ha of mixed vines, yielding 29 tonnes of mixed chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and shiraz grapes, lush gardens, and orchards.
Originally family-run and established more than 20 years ago, the freshly renovated Estate has a new lease on life. The Casuarina Estate property, was originally established by Peter Meier, well known for his cooking abilities at the Rothbury Estate in the 1970s. The Casuarina Estate Restaurant is a Hunter Valley institution, made so by chefs Peter Meier and Michael Watson who created a multi-award winning restaurant. Recently restored to it’s former glory, enjoy fine dining and Casuarina’s famous flambés.
